Last year, I had a great time at Coachella. It was well organized and not overly crowded. This year, it seemed like an event run by stoned teenagers and designed for them. Traffic control was nonexistent, causing us to miss half of the first day as it took 5 hours to get there from a nearby hotel. The subsequent days were only marginally better. Trash was everywhere inside, and it was unbelievably crowded. Nonexistent crowd control made it worse. Even my favorites, most of the bands sounded bad. You couldn't really get close because there were so many people, so you ended up hearing multiple bands playing at the same time. I won't go back next year.
